Celebrating a Lifetime of Achievements

Dear friends of FP,

This January, the Feminist Press was announced as the recipient of the prestigious Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Book Critics Circle. The award is given annually to a person or institution that has made significant contributions to literary culture, with illustrious past recipients including PEN America, Toni Morrison, and Naomi Shihab Nye.

In celebration of this tremendous honor, over the next few weeks we’ll be posting a series of reflections upon the history of the Feminist Press, from its founding fifty-one years ago to the present day.

Do you want to help us commemorate this landmark achievement? Make a donation today in honor of your favorite FP book, past or present, and we’ll highlight the titles you choose throughout the coming weeks. Donate now and join us in celebrating the first fifty-one years of a lifetime of feminist literature!

In solidarity,

The Feminist Press team—Lauren, Rachel, Lucia, Jisu, Nick, Drew, Amy, Yannise, and Jackie
