Celebrating Our Impact in 2024
2024 was another year for the books at Feminist Press. We’re excited to share our impact report with you.
Some of our favorite highlights:
We published 11 books by insurgent and marginalized feminist writers: from an enthralling trans coming-of-age fantasy, to a short story collection celebrating bold and irreverent Mexican women, to a poetic novel about refugee motherhood.
We hosted more than 80 community-building literary events in 25 states and 36 cities.
And we donated an incredible 1,500 books to organizations across the United States, including the Youth Abortion Support Collective, the Poulin Project (for New York State schools, libraries, and prisons), the Community Action Relief Project, and American Indian Heath and Family Services of Detroit—expanding access to feminist literature for the readers who need it most.
