Join the FLorence Howe Society

Becoming a member of the Florence Howe Society costs you nothing now, but will fuel the revolutionary work of feminist publishing for years to come. Please consider a gift to the Feminist Press in your will or trust or by beneficiary designation. Your attorney can help you determine which option is best for you.

Here are some popular ways to include the Feminist Press in your estate planning. We provide sample language for your will or trust that may help you and your attorney draw up a bequest that suits your needs.

  • Leave a stated sum of money to the Feminist Press in your will or living trust.
Sample language: “I give to the Feminist Press, a New York not-for-profit corporation that is recognized as exempt from tax under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, with its principal office located at 365 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10016, the sum of $___ to be used for its general purposes.”

  • Leave a percentage of your estate to the Feminist Press in your will or living trust.

  • Take care of others first, and leave the remainder of your estate to the Feminist Press after other bequests, debts, and taxes have been fulfilled.
