To celebrate the reissue of the classic children’s folklore collection TATTERHOOD, the Feminist Press will host Drag Queen Story Hour, inspired by RADAR Productions’ popular series in San Francisco. The series was initially part of RADAR’s Queering the Castro program, which aims to reclaim the radically queer roots of the Castro neighborhood.
The Feminist Press will bring the series to New York, beginning with the first story hour for children held at Greenlight Bookstore on Saturday, August 6th. Ona Louise will share a story from TATTERHOOD.
