Join us for the third (and final) (for now) installment of the Sapphic Summer series at McNally Jackson Seaport! Moderated by FP staffer Nadine Santoro.
This month's event will be centered around transitions—from personal transitional relationships to sapphic identity and community, to the evolution of the sapphic literary landscape across decades. Authors will read from their work and speak to topics such as their shifting understanding of their writing and identities over time, the historical and present-day connections between lesbian and trans communities and spaces, literature that bridges the gap and complicates identity categories, and how language shapes our understanding of self.
