A Celebration to Honor No More Masks! and Florence Howe

An evening to honor Florence Howe  and the 1973 ground-breaking anthology of 20th century American women’s poetry. Co-editors Florence Howe and Ellen Bass will talk about the origins of No More Masks! and the thrill of discovering poems that revealed women’s experience: our thoughts, our passions, our struggles and our dreams. Reading poems from the anthology and their own recent poems will be: Ellen Bass, Natalie Diaz, Florence Howe, Marie Howe, Aracelis Girmay, Donna Masini, Robin Morgan, Saretta Morgan, and Alicia Ostriker.
