Join us at the Granite Prospects steps in the Brooklyn Bridge Park for an evening of readings, Q&A, and book signings with Feminist Press authors Ivelisse Rodriguez, Sarah Schulman and Vikki Warner.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Sarah Schulman is a literary chronicler of the marginalized and subcultural, focusing on queer urban life. She is the author of several books, including The Gentrification of the MindConflict is Not Abuse, and The Cosmopolitans. She is Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at CUNY, and teaches creative writing at the College of Staten Island.

Vikki Warner is an acquisitions editor with Blackstone Audio and a freelance writer. Her work has appeared in BUSTThe Boston Globe, and Zagat, among others.

Ivelisse Rogriguez was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She earned a PhD in English and creative writing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MFA from Emerson College. She has published fiction in All About Skin: Short Fiction by Women of Color, the Boston Review, the Bilingual Review, and others. She is a senior fiction editor at Kweli, a Kimbilio fellow, and a VONA/Voices alum.
