We're Here For You

Since our founding in 1970, Feminist Press has worked to dismantle systems of oppression by publishing books that center the experiences of our community and amplify much-needed, often unheard perspectives. That has and will always include books by immigrant authors, books that challenge hegemony and authoritarianism, and books that document the realities of our time while also visioning a better, more feminist world.
We wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge how scary this current moment is. We are here for you. We will keep doing this work—we will continue to show up at protests and rallies, we will continue to donate books to support grassroots orgs, and we will continue to amplify the movement leaders and everyday voices that foster new ideas and hope for the future.
We also wanted to spotlight our friends at Justseeds, a cooperative of artists dedicated to social, environmental, and political engagement. We had the honor of working with many of the Justseeds artists on Celebrate People's History, a poster book of resistance and revolution. They’ve created an incredible collection of free, downloadable art that can be printed and used for flyers and action announcements, at demonstrations, in home and storefront windows, and in any other public spaces to call for the abolition of ICE. Art in all forms is more important now than ever. Thank you, Justseeds, for this reminder.
