Norman Erikson Pasaribu

Norman Erikson Pasaribu is a Toba Batak writer of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Happy Stories, Mostly (translated by Tiffany Tsao) won the 2022 Republic of Consciousness Prize, was a finalist for the 2023 Cercador Prize for Literature in Translation, and was longlisted for the 2022 International Booker Prize, the 2023 Barrios Book in Translation Prize, and the 2023 National Translation Award in Prose.
