Azza el Kholy
Azza el Kholy is a professor of American literature at Alexandria University, where she obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. She has spent some time as a visiting scholar at George Washington University. She was executive director of The TAFL (Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language) Center, and director of the Language and Translation Unit at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Alexandria. She is currenlty an advisor for special projects in the director's office of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Deputy Director of the Institute for Peace Studies. Her Academic and research interests include feminist criticism, nineteenth century American literature, translation, and peace and conflict studies.
